Boardman's Bailey, Canfield relays lead area state swimming qualifiers

Boardman senior Bailey enters Saturday’s state swimming meet at Canton’s C.T. Branin Natatorium with the fastest time in Division I in the 100-yard butterfly (49.32). It’s more than a second faster than Cincinnati Moeller junior Greg Nymberg (50.51), who is seeded second.

In Division II, Canfield’s 200 free and 400 free relays are both seeded in the top four. The 200 free relay enters with a time of 1:28.34 — just two-tenths of a second slower than top-seeded University School.
