Kokrak shoots par at Northern Trust Open

LOS ANGELES — Warren JFK High graduate Jason Kokrak shot a par 71 on Thursday in the first round of the PGA Tour’s Northern Trust Open at Riviera Country Club.

Kokrak’s round included five birdies and five bogeys. He’s tied with 20 other golfers for 48th place, seven strokes behind leader Matt Kuchar.

Kokrak ties off on Friday at 2:30 p.m.. His playing partners are Andres Romero and Brandt Jobe.
