Woman killed in 2-car accident in Marion, Ohio

MARION, Ohio (AP) — A 70-year-old woman has been killed in a two-car accident in Marion.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol says Betty Stone was pronounced dead at a local hospital after the accident at about 4:40 p.m. Monday.

Police say Stone failed to yield for traffic while driving across U.S. Route 23. Her car was struck on the passenger side by a pick-up truck driven by 77-year-old Joseph Weiler of Bucyrus. Weiler and his wife, 70-year-old Lois Weiler, also suffered injuries.
