Dog- and cat-related items can be dropped off at the Animal Charity My Fluffy Valentine table, set up on the second floor of Youngstown State University’s Kilcawley Center, through Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. For information, call Caitlyn Hicks at 330-941-7459.

Items urgently needed are dry and canned dog and cat food, puppy and kitten food, paper towels, brooms, newspapers, dog and cat toys, small plastic grocery bags, big and small garbage bags, steel dishes and cat litter.

Other items needed are pens and pencils, rawhides, big and small shovels, garden hoses, office supplies, disinfectant spray, air fresheners, laundry detergent, hand and dish soap, fans, copy paper, facial tissues, blankets, plastic sandwich bags, plastic totes with lids, towels, sponges, plastic/latex gloves and other items.
