One person was injured in a hit-and-run at Canfield Road and Schenley Avenue on the West Side about 7 p.m. Sunday, according to Youngstown police. The victim was transported to a hospital, and police still were investigating the case. No other information was available Sunday night.

It is the latest in a series of hit-and-run incidents in the city. On Friday, a vehicle plowed into a crowd gathered for a vigil for a hit-and-run victim who was killed last week. Five people were injured in Friday’s hit-and-run on Hylda Avenue.
