Columbiana Co. property-tax bills in the mail

LISBON — Columbiana County Treasurer Linda S. Bolon announced the first half of 2012 manufactured home tax statements have been mailed with a due date of March 15.

Approximately 3,100 bills were issued. If your taxes are included in your mortgage payment, or if you have already paid for the full year, you will not receive a bill.

The payments must be postmarked or received by the Treasurer no later than March 15. Payments will be considered timely as long as they are postmarked on or before March 15.

Penalty for late payment is 10 percent of the outstanding tax. Tax payments can also be made at any Huntington Bank branch located in Columbiana County. To take advantage of this service you must have your statement with you. The bank cannot accept partial payments.
