Emily Colleen Stroh- meyer of McDonald became the bride of Joseph Daniel Datchuk of Girard during a 2 p.m. Sept. 15, 2012, wedding ceremony at St. Mary Church in Mineral Ridge. The Rev. Richard Murphy officiated.

The couple were honored at a reception at The Corinthian in Sharon, Pa.

The bride is the daughter of Regis and Patricia Strohmeyer of McDonald. Parents of the groom are Joseph and Mimi Datchuk of Girard.

After a wedding trip to Aruba, the couple reside in Girard.

The bride wore an ivory fit-and-flare dress embellished with corded lace and draping layers of fluted tulle. Handmade flowers and crystals adorned the bodice and neckline.

The maid of honor was Hannah Strohmeyer, the bride’s sister. Bridesmaids were Joey Appod, Toni DeSanto, Sarah Logar, Emily Saracusa, Melissa Turk and Renee VanDyke. They wore teal blue dresses.

The groom’s brother, Robert Datchuk, performed the duties of best man. Groomsmen were Bruce Alexander, James Keagy, Brian Partain, Jay and John Racick, cousins of the groom, and Mark Zuppo.

The bride received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Mount Union and a master’s degree in business administration from Youngstown State University. She is a certified public accountant at Carbis Walker LLP in New Castle, Pa.

The groom earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Hiram College and a law degree from the University of Akron. He is an attorney at The Cadle Co. in Newton Falls.
