Teen girl shot to death in Cleveland

CLEVELAND (AP) — Police in Cleveland say a 16-year-old girl was shot to death overnight.

It happened just after midnight today on the city’s southwest side.

The girl’s father reported hearing multiple gunshots outside and found that his daughter was not in her room. He found her in the back yard with multiple gunshot wounds.

She was pronounced dead at a hospital.

No other information was immediately available.
