YOUNGSTOWN

Junior Brandon Lee had 25 points and senior Chad Oliver added 23 points for the Panthers (16-0). Oliver also had 10 rebounds and five assists for Bristol, which trailed at halftime, 36-31, before starting off the third quarter with a 7-0 run. Daylen Williams’ game-high 26 points paced the Eagles (6-7).

GIRLS

Cardinal Mooney 44, East 40

YOUNGSTOWN

The Cardinals (8-10) rallied from a 17-11 halftime deficit as Brie Ozenghar scored eight of her team-high 14 points in a 16-5 third quarter. Jamie DiDomenico added 12 points for Mooney. Chmika Kennedy of East (5-12) led all scorers with 20 points.

Poland 63, Niles 22

NILES

Aleah Hughes and Rachael Robertson each scored 11 points for the Bulldogs (12-7). Theodora Constantine contributed nine points and six rebounds. For the Red Dragons (3-17), Makayla Butler led with eight points.

Lakeview 56, Hubbard 28

HUBBARD

Hubbard was within 36-23 after three quarters until Lakeview’s 20-point fourth quarter cemented the non-conference outcome. Alli Pavlik had 20 points and Lizzy Konitsney 11 for the winners (14-5). Alena Burzynski had eight points for the Eagles (6-13). Lakeview and Hubbard combined for a dismal 10-of-32 at the free throw line.

Girard 42, Brookfield 28

BROOKFIELD

Bree Bishop had 12 points to lead Girard, which surged after a 19-19 halftime tie, while Brookfield went scoreless in the fourth quarter.

Bishop had five points in the final period, while Valerie Thomas scored four of her six during the same stretch for the Indians (14-6). Kayla Boyer and Delany Saxton had six points apiece for Brookfield (7-9).

United 52, Jackson-Milton 23

NORTH JACKSON

United (19-2, 13-0 Inter Tri-County League Tier One) moved one step closer to finishing undefeated in the league. The Golden Eagles, who clinched the championship last week, were led by Emily Zehentbauer with 14 points and Courney Hydrick with 10 points and eight rebounds. Jackson-Milton (13-6, 8-5) got eight points from Madison Tomaino.

Crestview 42, South Range 39 OT

GREEN TOWNSHIP

Ashley Harrison scored 21 points and made seven rebounds for the Rebels (15-6, 10-3 ITCL Tier One). Harrison made a 3-pointer from the top of the key at the end of regulation. Morgan Newbauer scored 10 points and made five assists while Anna Hardenbrook also made seven rebounds. For the Raiders (9-9, 8-5), Lexi Naples scored 10 points and made six rebounds, four steals and three assists.

Springfield 53, Lisbon 40

NEW MIDDLETOWN

Kennedy Richey scored 16 points, while Callie Ford and Jillian Tabaka had 15 and 10, respectively, for Springfield (6-12, 6-7 ITCL Tier One), which took a 30-17 halftime lead. Tiffany Ketchum and Sarah Boyd had 13 points apiece for Lisbon (11-9, 5-8).

East Palestine 40, Mineral Ridge 24

EAST PALESTINE

Brooke Gedeon led the Bulldogs (4-14, 2-11 ITCL Tier One) with 14 points and Peyton Allen scored nine points to pace Mineral Ridge (2-17, 0-13).

Columbiana 91, McDonald 31

McDONALD

The Clippers (17-2, 11-2 ITCL Tier Two) scored at least 20 points in each of the first three quarters on the way to the rout. Khylea Fullum scored 27 points and Megan Cutlip added 21 points, 14 rebounds and nine steals . Sara Joseph led McDonald (1-16, 1-12) with 10 points.

Leetonia 39, Sebring 36

SEBRING

Bethany Basich’s 11 points paced Leetonia (8-11, 7-6 ITCL Tier Two), which fell behind at halftime, 20-12, before outscoring Sebring in the second half, 27-16. Murphy Flowers had 14 points for Sebring (4-15, 1-12).

Wellsville 46, Western Reserve 45

WELLSVILLE

Shartece Taylor had 12 points and Amanda Coles had 10 points and 20 rebounds for Wellsville (8-12, 6-7 ITCL Tier Two), which recovered from a four-point, first-quarter deficit. Brittany Clendenning had four rebounds and two steals for the winners. Tory White had 17 points and Bethany Burger added 10 for Western Reserve (7-11, 7-6).

LaBrae 78, Southeast 69

LEAVITTSBURG

Maddie Kiser had 18 points, Somer McCoy 17, Ashlee Stubbs 16 and Lauren Rutherford 15 for the Vikings (10-9) in the non-conference game. Southeast (14-4) had three players in double figures, led by Shayna White’s 18, Rachel Stull’s 16 and Brittany Butcher’s 13.

Lordstown 58, Mathews 46

LORDSTOWN

Sarah Cash scored 28 points to lead the Red Devils (15-4, 8-3) as they clinched at least a tie for first place in the Stripes Division of the Northeastern Athletic Conference. Marlena Liming added support with 13 points. Mathews (8-11, 5-7) got 12 points each from Natalie Halavick and Dayna Ellis.

Bristol 71, Southington 30

SOUTHINGTON

Laurin Elza scored 18 points while Allyson Jones was in with 13 points and 15 rebounds for the Panthers (14-5, 7-3 NAC). Shelby Cameron and Autumn Arbogast evenly split 14 points for the Wildcats (3-15, 1-10). Bristol led 37-15 at the break.
