Jan. 24
Stolen plates: License plates were reported stolen at a home in the 40 block of Elizabeth St. Boardman police had asked that a Canfield report be made on the theft after they had found the suspect.
Jan. 26
Theft: 7.4 gallons of fuel valued at $25 was stolen at Sunoco, 407 W. Main St.
Theft: A woman reported that $500 was stolen from a savings account she had with her daughter at Farmers National Bank, 20 S. Broad St.
Jan. 29
Drug abuse: John Dominick, 22, of 652 Poland Ave., Struthers, was arrested for drug abuse after police found a plastic bag of three small, blue pills, identified as oxycodone.
Jan. 30
Warrant: Richard Hall, 48, of 25 Market St., Youngstown, was arrested on a warrant out of Trumbull County for failure to appear.

Jan. 28
Theft: A purse and contents were stolen from a vehicle in the 5000 block of Willowcrest Drive.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged at Allstate Peterbilt, 3680 LeHarps Road.
Theft: David Buchanan, 39, of 5512 Callaway Circle was arrested in the theft of $501 of merchandise at Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: Two computer notebooks were stolen from Team Office, 118 N. Niles-Canfield Road.
Telecommunications harassment: There is a suspect in telecommunications harassment at a home in the 5000 block of Silica Road.
Fraud: Unauthorized charges were made to an account at a home in the 4000 block of Burkey Road.

Auto theft: A vehicle stolen from a home in the 300 block of Forest Hill Drive was recovered by Youngstown police.
Menacing: Facebook threats were reported at a home in the 100 block of S. Roanoke Ave.
Theft: A contractor did not complete a home repair in the 2000 block of Woodridge Court.
Theft: Michael Tomlin, 29, of 1619 Wellington Ave., Youngstown, was issued a summons for theft of a $398 computer at Walmart.
Theft: Rings were taken from a dresser at a home in the 300 block of Evelyn Road.
Personal injury: A dog bite was reported at S. Edgehill Avenue and Huntmere Avenue.
Theft: Christopher Braun, 19, of 211 S. Schenley Ave., Youngstown, was issued a summons for theft of BBs and a BB gun valued at $77.98 at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.
Warrant: Richard Backer, 23, of 131 N. Kimberly Ave. was arrested on four warrants for complicity to theft and complicity to breaking and entering.
Warrant: Ross Metzinger, 27, of 24 Sandy Court, New Middletown was arrested on a warrant for telephone harassment.

Warrant: Nicholas Pellice, 34, of 160 S. Portland Ave, Youngstown was arrested on a warrant for receiving stolen property.

Telecommunications harassment: Unwanted calls from a son’s girlfriend were reported at a home in the 3000 block of Elmwood Avenue.
Theft: A diamond ring was taken from a home in the 500 block of Notre Dame Drive.
Fraud: A bank account was accessed at a home in the 4000 block of Claridge Drive.
Theft: A tire and rim were taken from an auto in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.
Theft: A roofing nail gun was stolen at a home in the 1000 block of Idaho Road.
Fraud: A tax return was filed in the victim’s name at an apartment in the 1000 block of Compass West.

Theft: Michael Newell, 28, of 290 S. Union Ave., Salem, was issued a summons for shoplifting at Walmart.
