Campbell man accused in fifth robbery

A Campbell man already accused of robbing four Mahoning Valley businesses now is facing an additional robbery charge.
Schon Howard, 44, of Campbell, is accused of threatening a store clerk with a knife Jan. 20 at the Speedway on East Midlothian Boulevard in Boardman and demanding money, police said.
The clerk turned over the cash drawer, and the suspect fled into a waiting car, records state.
Howard has pleaded not guilty to the latest charge and is due back in Mahoning County Area Court here March 12.
Last week, a Mahoning County grand jury indicted Howard on one count of aggravated robbery and three counts of robbery, including a Jan. 8 incident at a Subway sandwich shop, where he purportedly brandished a knife and demanded money.
The indictment also alleges Howard robbed a BP gas station on East Midlothian Boulevard on Jan. 2; a Speedway gas station on North Meridian Road in Youngstown on Jan. 11; and robbed the same Speedway on July 22, 2012.
