McDonald’s in Campbell robbed

The McDonald’s restaurant on McCartney Road was robbed over the weekend, police reported.

Police were called to the restaurant around 11:50 p.m. Saturday after employees who went out the back entrance to take out trash were confronted by two men with guns. They ordered employees to give them their cell phones, made employees go into a bathroom and took $1,500 from the safe, a police report says.
