The coroner’s office has identified a “Jane Doe” nearly 21 years after her body was found.

Joseph S. Ohr, Mahoning County Deputy Coroner, today formally identified Sharon Lynn Kedzierski, of Pembroke Pines, Fla., as the unidentified homicide victim from a cold case that originated in 1992.

A news release from Orh said DNA analysis has confirmed Kedzierski as the murder victim.

On April 9, 1992, a woman walking her dog on Clarkins Drive in Austintown discovered Kedzierski’s partially nude body near the Universal Truck Mall parking lot.
