Archangel Michael Greek Orthodox Church provided the setting Oct. 7 for the 3 p.m. wedding of Venice Pryjma and Thomas Tomidajewicz, both of Youngstown, at which the Rev. Steve Denas officiated.
The couple were honored at a reception at Avion on the Water in Canfield.
The bride is the daughter of John and Maria Pryjma of Youngstown. Parents of the groom are Susanna DeMarco of Boardman and Thomas Tomidajewicz of Girard.
After a wedding trip to Clearwater Beach, Fla., the couple reside in Youngstown.
The couple attended Youngstown State University. The bride works in nutrition services for St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Boardman, and the groom is a journeyman for Ironworkers Local 207 of Boardman.
The bride wore a strapless diamond-white drop-waist gown adorned with crystal beading.
Maid of honor was Jessica Jones. Serving as koumbaras were Tula Ellinos and Maria Greco. Bridesmaids were Lisa Sefcik, the groom’s sister; Deanne DeMarco, the groom’s cousin; and Danielle Crago, the bride’s cousin. Junior bridesmaids were Megan and Crystal Kidd, the groom’s nieces. Flower girls were Kamryn Dozier and Emmah McConahy, the bride’s cousin. The attendants wore spice-colored gowns.
The groom’s cousin, Donald Pick, performed the duties of best man. Groomsmen were Steve Tirabassi; Steven Sefcik, the groom’s brother-in-law; and Joseph DeMarco, the groom’s cousin. The ring bearer was Jack Sefcik, the groom’s nephew. Serving as stefana bearer was Dominic DiMartino. Ushers were Michael and Matthew Greco, the bride’s cousins. Junior usher was Matthew McConahy, the bride’s cousin.
