Black history program to be meeting topic

YOUNGSTOWN

Plans for a Black History Month program will be finalized during a meeting of Friends of the East Branch Library, 430 Early Road, at 4:30 p.m. Monday at the library.

The Black History Month program is scheduled for noon Feb. 23 at the library and will feature a presentation by Ted Toles Jr., who will speak about the Negro Baseball League.

Members also will discuss the soul food refreshments that will be served at the program.
