A summary of police activity in the city of Canfield and Austintown:

CANFIELD

Dec. 23

Drug abuse: Georgia Morocco, 18, of Humbolt Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on two counts of drug abuse.

Warrant: Carlton Watson, 21, of St. Andrews Drive, Canfield, was arrested on a warrant charging failure to appear in Canfield Mayor’s Court.

Dec. 26

Warrant: Kristi Novotny, 38, of 4879 Brookwood, Boardman, was arrested on a Canfield Mayor’s Court Warrant charging failure to appear.

Drug paraphernalia: Jacquelyn Harrington, 25, of Nielson Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and wrongful entrustment and Ryan Harrington, 29, same address, was arrested on a charge of drug paraphernalia.

AUSTINTOWN

Dec. 23

Theft: Coins were taken by a mother’s boyfriend at a home in the 2000 block of Sprucewood Court.

Recovered property: Money was recovered at Harbor Freight, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Drug offense: Daniel Richard, 34, of South Inglewood Avenue, was issued two summonses charging him with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Theft: Two truck batteries were stolen at Hydrochem, 428 Thatcher Lane.

Passing bad checks: Bad checks were passed at Coney Island Hot Dogs, 31 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Theft: Sara Wilson, 35, of Willowcrest Drive, was charged with theft and complicity, and Jamie Stitzel, 34, of Rhoda Avenue, Youngstown, was charged with theft and complicity; they’re charged with shoplifting $231.87 of merchandise at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: There is a suspect in a theft at Game Stop, 5515 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: $950 was charged to a credit card at an apartment in the 4000 block of Pembrook Road.

Dec. 24

Warrant: Stephen Watkins, 26, of South Evanston Avenue, Youngstown, was arrested on a warrant charging him with failure to appear on a charge of drug abuse instruments.

Domestic violence: Jodie Fox, 54, of North Beverly Avenue, was arrested on a charge of domestic violence.

Theft: Lateaka Madison,22, of Victor Avenue, Youngstown, arrested on charges of theft at Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave., and possession of dangerous drugs and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and on a warrant charging failure to appear on a traffic offense.

Criminal trespassing: Justin Majernik, 26, of Elvira Drive, McDonald, was arrested on charges of criminal trespassing, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.

Dec. 25

Telecommunications harassment: Unwanted text messages were reported at an apartment in the 900 block of Compass West.

Vandalism: Two semis were damaged at Falcon Transport, 200 Victoria Road.

Drug offense: A suspect fled and was involved in a pursuit, which was terminated.

Dec. 26

Felonious assault: Bruce Von Bergen, 32, of Lexington Avenue, Warren, was arrested on two counts of aggravated menacing and resisting arrest.

Abandoned vehicle: An abandoned vehicle was towed at Hana Japanese, 4777 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A car window was broken out and a purse stolen at Perkins, 5550 Interstate Blvd. The purse later was found with money and credit cards missing.

Drug offense: Stephen Cannon Jr., 20, of Selkirk Avenue, was issued a summons charging him with possession of marijuana.

Theft: A television was stolen at a home in the 4000 block of Burkey Road.

Fraud: Unauthorized account charges were reported at a home in the 4000 block of Patricia Avenue.

Warrant: Ralph Stoddard, 22, of S. Meridian Road was arrested on a warrant charging him with burglary.

Dec. 27

Drug offense: Terria Brown, 28, of Park Hill Drive, Youngstown, was issued two summonses charging possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Burglary: An all-terrain vehicle, tools and a bike were taken from a home in the 4000 block of Woodleigh Court.

Theft: A victim’s credit/debit card was stolen and used at an ATM at Speedway, 4401 Kirk Road.

Telecommunications harassment: Unwanted hang-up calls were reported at a home in the 3000 block of Riblet Avenue.

Recovered property: Two four-wheelers were recovered along with numerous parts after they had been stolen in the 3000 block of Lynhaven Road.

Theft: Two diamond rings were stolen at a home in the 2000 block of South Canfield-Niles Road.

Obstructing official business: Zachary Soles, 22, of Pembrook Road, was arrested on a charge of obstructing official business.

Menacing: There is a suspect in a case of menacing in the 4000 block of Mahoning Avenue.

Dec. 28

Disorderly conduct: Colleen Hurst, 45, of Lancaster Drive was issued a summons charging her with disorderly conduct.

Theft: Two Xbox games were stolen from a home in the 3000 block of South Edgehill Avenue.

Animal complaint: A cat was shot with an arrow at a home in the 5000 block of Kirk Road.

Drug offense: Ashley Toy, 28, of Middletown Road, Canfield, was issued a summons charging her with possession of marijuana.

Drug offense: Sandra Nickell, 34, of Maplecrest Drive, was issued a summons charging her with possession of marijuana paraphernalia.

Drug offense: Evan Cleland, 24, of Walnut Street, Struthers, was issued summonses charging possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and a domestic dispute.

Dec. 29

Disorderly conduct: Megan McBride, 21, of Dover Drive, Warren, was issued a summons charging disorderly conduct.

Drug offense: Robert Watson, 23, of South Main Street was issued a summons charging him with possession of marijuana.

Felonious assault: A man was taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center after an assault.

Theft: Pills were reported stolen from an apartment in the 1000 block of South Raccoon Road..

Lost or stolen property: A man’s wedding ring was lost or stolen at Pizza Hut, 5332 Mahoning Ave.
