Boardman police arrest Youngstown woman on theft charge

BOARDMAN — Township police arrested a 51-year-old Youngstown woman Monday after officials at the Walmart store here accused her of theft. Jacqueline Gray of Auburndale Avenue is charged with misdemeanor theft.

Walmart loss-prevention officials say Gray chose multiple children’s items, including a tricycle, desk and easel and clothes, to steal. Altogether the items were valued at $70.14.

Loss prevention says Gray concealed the clothing and went to the customer service to exchange the merchandise for a Walmart gift card.

She then went and selected more merchandise to pay for it with the gift card.
