Jennifer Ortz and Christopher Wells were united in marriage at 3 p.m. Nov. 16 at First Covenant Church in a ceremony officiated by the Rev. Thomas Sharkey.

The couple were honored at a reception at Avion on the Water in Canfield.

William and Beth Ortz of Boardman are parents of the bride. Richard and Tina Wells of Steubenville, Ohio, are parents of the groom.

The bride wore an ivory English-net ball gown with a lace bodice and cap sleeves, accented by Swarovski crystal details at the waist.

Dressed in navy blue gowns, bridesmaids were Cynthia Donson; Christy Knarr; Tarah Ortz, the bride’s sister-in-law; and Gina Thomas McGee.

Groomsmen were Sean Buchanan; Steve DeBacco; Nick Hanek; and the bride’s brother, Steve Ortz.

The bride earned a bachelor’s degree in French from Mount Union College and a master’s degree in French literature from Indiana University, Bloomington campus. She works at McMaster-Carr Supply Co. in Aurora, Ohio.

Her husband received a bachelor’s degree in English from Grove City College and a juris doctorate from the University of Akron School of Law. He is an attorney in private practice in Stow, Ohio.

The couple traveled to Spain for their honeymoon. They live in Stow.
