Argus Lodge installs officers

SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR On Dec. 13, Argus Lodge 545 F&AM of Canfield installed officers for 2014 at its 128th annual installation ceremony. Master of ceremonies was Thomas J. Hallden, and marshals were David Powell and John Craig. Installing officers were Hallden, Russell W. Gillam III, Richard Persic, Elmer Stalnecker, Dan Illeick, Russell W. Gillam Jr., Robert Edwards, Donald Huntley, Dale E. Hawkins and Elmer Foldvary. Next year’s officers, seated, from left, are Ryan Hamilton, junior warden; Mark Roca, master; and Dale Hawkins, senior warden; in back are Richard Palmer, junior steward; Denny Furman, lodge education officer; Eric Cahalin, junior deacon; Russell W. Gillam III, treasurer; Christopher Gillam, chaplain; Clarence Shawver III, tyler; Charles Prachick, senior deacon; Huntley, secretary; and R. Patrick Anderson, senior steward. Thomas Eaton also was installed as trustee.
