Dunkin’ Donuts made a $20,000 donation to Akron Children’s Hospital Mahoning Valley in conjunction with their second annual Miracles for Munchkins travel mug design contest, which took place earlier this year.

On hand for the check presentation were local franchise owners Joe and Stew White, Franchise Manager Heather Lathom and many Dunkin’ Donuts bakery experts. The check was presented at the hospital’s annual Breakfast with Santa event Dec. 7.

Artists from across the Mahoning Valley entered their original artwork creations that best depicted the promises delivered by Akron Children’s Hospital Mahoning Valley. The winning design was featured on a limited-edition travel mug for sale at all Mahoning Valley Dunkin’ Donuts locations this Fall. Dunkin’ Donuts has made a $20,000 donation to the Akron Children’s Hospital Mahoning Valley from the sale of the travel mugs.

“Dunkin’ Donuts is very proud of our collaboration with Akron Children’s Hospital Mahoning Valley, and we believe this donation was a wonderful way to give back the community for being involved in such a great cause,” said Thomasina Dennison, Field Marketing Manager, Dunkin’ Brands.
