Two 2011 Cardinal Mooney graduates received their pharmacy white coats at a ceremony at Ohio Northern University. Lauren DePietro of Boardman and Eric Sklenar of Canfield are both third-year pharmacy students at the Raabe College of Pharmacy at Ohio Northern University. The white coat ceremony, which took place Nov. 9, marks a solemn, yet momentous occasion for the pharmacy students. At this ceremony, the students were asked to take an oath of professional commitment and given their white coats to signify their commitment to the profession of pharmacy and their future patients. Students spend six years in the pharmacy program and then graduate with the Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
