Youngstown Christmas Eve marred by shooting

YOUNGSTOWN

A man is in the hospital after being shot in a driveway at 160 W. LaClede Ave. about 9:40 a.m. today.

Police say the man, who they are not yet identifying, was shot in the stomach. He was shot by someone in a passing car, police said.

Officers found several spent 9mm shell casings in the snow and took them for evidence.

A few rounds hit the home where the man was at, but no one inside was injured.
