OSHP investigates tractor-trailer accident in Austintown

AUSTINTOWN — The Ohio State Highway Patrol Canfield Post continues investigating a commercial injury crash that occurred at 3:34 p.m. today on the Interstate 80 eastbound off ramp to state Route 11 southbound.

According to the patrol report, Kevin L. McCurry, 46, of Sharpsville, Pa., lost control of his vehicle and drifted off the left side of the roadway, where the tractor-trailer overturned and spilled its load of coal in the grassy median.

McCurry was taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center with nonlife-threatening injuries.
