Ham operators help with parade

YOUNGSTOWN

During the annual Christmas Parade on Dec. 7, 22 local amateur radio operators provided voluntary communication services to the Youngstown Police Department.

Several local amateur radio clubs were represented, including the Western Reserve Amateur Radio Club, the Mahoning Valley Amateur Radio Association, the Portage County Amateur Radio Service and the 20/9 Amateur Radio Club.
