Students at Poland Middle School and McKinley Elementary came together and over a two week period to collect over 5,000 non-perishable items.

From Nov. 4-15, Poland Middle School student council hosted a food drive to benefit the Poland Food Pantry. Alaina McMahon, student council advisor, along with many of the middle school staff were astonished at the outcome of this event.

“Small things can make a big difference,” said Laiken Maurer, a student council representative.

The student council was proud of their school coming together to help feed needy residents in the Poland community.
