Lessons and carols service set Sunday at Christ Episcopal

A Festival of Lessons and Carols will be sung by the area Episcopal Choirs at 7 p.m. Sunday at Christ Episcopal Church, 2627 Atlantic St. NE.

The festival is a format for a service of Christian worship celebrating the birth of Jesus.

Participating will be the choirs of St. James Episcopal in Boardman; St. John’s Episcopal, Sharon, Pa.; St. John’s Episcopal in Youngstown; and Christ Episcopal with Dr. Richard Konzen, organist and Gary P. Richards, directing.

Readers will include Lorenzo Thomas, Barbara Jones, Amanda Baker, John Manhollan, Janice Henrey, William Cooper, Dr. Lee Snelson and the Rev. Jeffrey Baker.
