Montrose Zion United Methodist Church was the setting of the 3:30 p.m. wedding April 6 for Bethany Nicole Camp and Andrew James Meyer, both of Akron. The Rev. Elizabeth Hadler officiated. An evening reception followed at Chenoweth Country Club.
Her parents are Nancy Camp of Boardman and the late Jeffrey A. Camp. Parents of the groom are Bob and Melinda Meyer of Medina, Ohio.
The bride earned a bachelor’s degree in Spanish from the University of Mount Union. She is a network services specialist for Anthem Healthcare, Wellpoint Corp., in Independence, Ohio.
Her husband earned a bachelor’s degree in sport business from the University of Mount Union. He is general store manager for American Commodore Tuxedo in Solon, Ohio.
The bride wore a white re-embroidered lace and tulle strapless gown with a sweetheart neckline and mermaid silhouette adorned with crystal beading, pearls and jewels that extended onto the chapel train. She wore a fingertip veil embellished with Swarovski crystals and double-layered scalloped edges.
Diane Bond was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Jess Kreager, Jessie Deeds and Jessica Robinson. Mackenzie Bond was the flower girl. The attendants wore black gowns with Tiffany-blue sashes.
Ben Meyer, the groom’s brother, was best man. Groomsmen were Kyle Laymon, Alex Koehler, Justin Beard and Matt Warren. Jackson Snodgrass, the groom’s nephew, was ring bearer.
After a wedding trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple reside in Stow, Ohio.
