FOP lodge plans shop with a cop

The Mahoning County Deputies FOP Lodge 141 will sponsor its annual Shop With a Cop.

The members will meet at 8 a.m. Saturday at the McDonalds on Route 224 in Canfield, then go to Kmart in Boardman at about 9 a.m. After the kids do their shopping, the kids and cops will go to Movies 8.

The lodge also is joining with Open Arms Community Outreach, Inc. for the annual coat and blanket drive. Anybody can drop off old coats and blankets at the Mahoning County Sheriff’s Office by Friday. At 1 p.m. Saturday, the coats and blankets will be given out to the homeless at the St. Vincent de Paul building on Front Street.
