Coroner rules boy’s death ‘natural’

WARREN

Dr. Humphrey Germaniuk, Trumbull County coroner, has ruled the death of 7-year-old Cormaree Floyd of High Street in Howland “natural,” resulting from a seizure disorder.

There was no sign of foul play in the boy’s death, the coroner said.

Howland police handled the investigation as a possible homicide pending further information from the coroner’s office.

The boy’s father, Corey Floyd, called 911 at 5:39 a.m. Nov. 1, saying the child was not breathing and may have suffered a seizure.
