“The Drowsy Chaperone,SDRq Carnation City Players, Firehouse Theater, 450 E. Market St., Alliance, auditions 7 to 9 p.m. today. Callbacks will be 10 to noon Saturday. The show has an ensemble cast with many featured roles. Actors should prepare 16 bars of a piece that shows their range; come prepared dance in comfortable shoes. Head shots and resumes not required but welcomed. All conflict dates must be stated on audition form. A table read with script, music and schedule handout will be Dec. 28 with rehearsals beginning Jan. 6. Performances will be Feb. 22, 23, 28, March 1, 2, 7 and 9.
