Hubbard woman sentenced in drug case

JOHNSTOWN, PA.

A Hubbard woman has been sentenced to two years’ probation after pleading guilty to conspiracy to distribute Oxycodone and Methadone between July 2008 and May 2011.

U.S. District Judge Kim R. Gibson imposed the sentence Monday on Kelley S. Johns, 43, who was one of 15 defendants indicted in the case.

Last week, the same judge sentenced Bonnie L. Chapman, 63, of Hanoverton, to five years’ probation, with the first year of it under house arrest, after Chapman pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute 220 pounds or more of marijuana in the same case.

The FBI, IRS, Pennsylvania State Police and various local Ohio and Pennsylvania police departments investigated this matter.
