Youngstown school board approves contract and raises

YOUNGSTOWN

The city school board unanimously approved a new three-year contract for teachers which calls for 2 percent raises each year. That raise kicks in the “me too” clause in the American Federation of State County and Municipal Employees and the trade union contract, giving them a 2 percent raise. The board also approved 2 percent raises for administrators and other non-union employees.
