A summary of police activity in the city of Canfield and Austintown:

CANFIELD

Dec. 6

Scam: A scam via Craiglist was reported at a home in the 300 block of Neff Drive.

Dec. 9

Criminal trespassing: Police arrested Rosemary Labato, 52, of Sleepy Hollow Drive on a charge of vandalism to vehicles, a swimming pool and pumpkins at 320 Sleep Hollow. She also was charged with criminal damaging and criminal trespass.

Dec. 12

Warrants: Police arrested Jalil Liggens, 25, of East Main Street, on two warrants for failure to appear in area courts in Canfield and Boardman.

AUSTINTOWN

Dec. 9

Theft: A bicycle and door mat were taken from a home in the 400 block of S. Raccoon Road.

Theft: Prescription medicine Suboxone was taken from an auto parked at a home in the 2000 block of Carnegie Avenue.

Theft: $200 worth of property was taken at Rite Aid, 5498 Mahoning Ave.

Drug offense: Police issued a summons to Michael Falba, 29, of Morris Street, New Castle, Pa., for possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana.

Dec. 10

Menacing by stalking: A woman reported receiving threatening messages on Facebook at a home in the 100 block of DeHoff Drive.

Fraud: An elderly female who lives in the 4000 block of Aspen Drive told police she was defrauded of $10,000 by a financial adviser.

Theft: Police issued a summons to Eric Arnold, 29, of Old Furnace Road, Youngstown, for theft of a pair of boots valued at $34.99 at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.

Breaking and entering: Car parts were stolen at Uptown Auto Service, 4801 S. Mahoning Ave.

Dec. 11

Lost or stolen property: A dealer plate was lost or stolen at Auto Nation, 4213 Mahoning Ave.

Telecommunications harassment: Police said they have a suspect in telecommunications harassment at an apartment in the 1000 block of Compass West.

Dec. 12

Warrant: Police arrested Diane Neal, 55, of Oakcrest Drive, on a bench warrant from Mahoning County Common Pleas Court for failure to appear.

Counterfeit currency: Counterfeit currency was passed at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.

Bad checks: Bad checks were passed at Austintown Pawn, 3700 Mahoning Ave.

Assault: An assault between two men was reported at a home in the 1000 block of South Raccoon Road.

Warrant: Police arrested Brandon Long, 18, of Hamman Drive, on a warrant for receiving stolen property.

Menacing by stalking: Threatening letters were received over a period of time by a female student at Austintown Fitch High School, 4560 Falcon Drive.

Auto theft: A 2000 Mazda Protege was stolen from a home in the 6000 block of Fairview Road.

Dec. 13

Burglary: A television was taken from a home in the 1000 block of Fountain Square.

Theft: An undetermined amount of jewelry was stolen at Kmart.

Disorderly conduct: Police arrested Johnathan Fedoruk, 31, no address given, on a charge of disorderly conduct.

Burglary: Police arrested Jordan Johnson, 24, of Pine Trace Street, and Daniel Farah, 27, of Bexley Drive, on charges of burglary and aggravated menacing. Johnson was also arrested on Austintown warrant.

Breaking and entering: A barn was entered and a Kawasaki ATV and crossbows were stolen in the 1000 block of Ohltown Road.

Dec. 14

Fraud: A female gave a fraudulent check and later pawned jewelry at Komara Jewelers, 3649 Canfield Road.

Theft: Thirty-five Percocet pills were stolen from an unlocked truck at Midas Muffler, 4540 Mahoning Ave.

Drug offense: Police issued a summons to Danielle Long, 24, of South Canfield-Niles Road, for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Dec. 15

Disorderly conduct: Police issued a summons to Matthew Fleischer, 26, of Nantucket Drive, for the charge of disorderly conduct.
