Pregnant woman killed in crash, baby survives

LEBANON, Pa. (AP) — A woman who was nine months pregnant has been killed in a car crash. Her baby boy survived and is listed in serious condition.

Lebanon County Coroner Dr. Jeffrey Yocum tells the Lebanon Daily News that 19-year-old Angelina Noggle of Lebanon was pronounced dead at Good Samaritan Hospital following the crash shortly after 3 p.m. Sunday.

Noggle’s baby was delivered at the hospital and then transferred to Hershey Medical Center. A hospital spokeswoman said today that the child is in serious condition.

The two-car collision happened at a snow-covered intersection in Lebanon. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
