Neighbors help plow after fire

WRIGHTSVILLE, Pa.

A rural south-central Pennsylvania community that lost several pieces of heavy equipment in a fire is getting help from its neighbors plowing the latest snowfall.

The York Daily Record/Sunday News reported Sunday that Lower Windsor Township in York County was loaned trucks and people to clear several inches of snow from the community’s roadways.

A fire in August at the township’s municipal building destroyed several trucks, a backhoe and other equipment.

Two neighboring townships are providing a truck apiece, while a third is sending a crew to help operate them.
