Kristen Danielle Galgan and Franklin Edward Ansevin were united in marriage during a 1:30 p.m. June 29 ceremony at Good Hope Lutheran Church in North Lima. The Rev. Ralph Edwards officiated.

A reception followed at Mr. Anthony’s Banquet Center in Boardman.

The bride is the daughter of Lee and Karen Galgan of Poland. The groom is the son of Dr. Carl Ansevin of Boardman and Karen Ansevin of Fairview Park, Ohio.

The bride wore a mermaid-style ivory gown that featured asymmetrical layers of organza on the skirt. The strapless fitted bodice featured a sweetheart neckline and asymmetrical ruching accented with silver beads and crystal appliqu s.

Shannon (Galgan) Franceschelli, the bride’s sister, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Janeece Ansevin and Jennifer Ansevin, the groom’s sisters-in-law; Alycia Sutherin; and Resha Desai. The attendants wore plum-colored satin A-line gowns.

The groom’s brothers, Daniel, Brian and Craig Ansevin, shared the duties of best men. Groomsmen were Victor Franceschelli, the bride’s brother-in-law; Joshua Berman; and Timothy Day.

The bride graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and also earned a master’s degree in business administration, both from Youngstown State University. She is the deputy finance director for the City of Canfield.

The groom earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology from Ohio State University, a physician assistant certificate from Cuyahoga Community College, and a master’s degree in physician assistant studies from the University of Nebraska. He is a physician assistant with Youngstown Orthopaedic Associates.

After a honeymoon in Castries, St. Lucia, the couple live in Boardman.
