Miss McDougal, Mr. Purfey plan Jan. wedding

The parents of Jessica McDougal of Warren and Stephen Purfey of Cortland are announcing the engagement of their children.

The couple have planned their wedding for January at North-Mar Church in Warren and a reception to follow at Ciminero’s Banquet Centre in Niles. Invitations are being extended for both occasions.

The bride-to-be, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David McDougal of Warren, attends Youngstown State University in pursuit of her master’s degree in social work. She is employed as office manager for PsyCare Inc.

The prospective groom, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Purfey of Boardman, graduated from Kent State University with a bachelor’s degree in middle school education. He works for Enterprise.
