A Cleveland developer has bought property on Belmont Avenue.
Visconsi Companies Ltd. acquired 3515 and 3523 Belmont at a Trumbull County sheriff’s auction Thursday morning.
The company paid $210,000 for the parcels, which have two auto-shop buildings on them now.
The properties, which the Trumbull County auditor lists as nearly 0.8 of an acre together, are near Walmart and Goldie Road. They were owned by Polas Properties LLC.
More property behind the parcels will go on auction at noon Thursday, but it isn’t clear if Visconsi will bid on it.
“I’m as positive as I can be they’re serious about a project,” said township administrator Pat Ungaro. He said he is not sure what that project will include.
“We don’t have an immediate plan for the property,” said Jeff Deeds, a vice president of development for Visconsi.
“We just thought it would be a good property to acquire,” he said.
Visconsi develops retail locations. Their clients include Walgreens and Key Bank.
