Winter classes at Hoyt arts center

NEW CASTLE, PA.

The winter schedule of classes at the Hoyt Center for the Arts, 124 E. Leasure Ave., runs Jan. 14 to March 8 and includes favorites such as watercolor painting, ballroom dance, ceramics and stained glass, plus three new selections.

Michael Anthony Camera, a Slippery Rock University graduate and artist, is offering an eight-week figure drawing course for children.

Also new to the lineup is Kelly Sandok, a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsulvania, who is teaching an introduction to theater course.

Finally, Kristin Thomas, a Slippery Rock grad, will teach Art as Meditation.
