Man pleads not guilty to theft charge

BOARDMAN

A 25-year-old man from Navarre was arrested Thursday after his father told police he stole $800 from him in 2011.

Aaron Firm is now in Mahoning County jail for the first-degree misdemeanor.

Firm pleaded not guilty to the theft charge previously on Nov. 26 in Boardman court.

Firm was arrested by Boardman police on Thursday at Mahoning Court in Boardman.

He had a pretrial hearing for the charge on Thursday.

His father accused him in December 2011 of the theft. The man told police he went to the bank to use his card, and $800 was missing.

He advised police he believed his son was a suspect.
