Kiwanis elects official

SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR Division 21 of Ohio International Kiwanis recently elected Lt. Gov. Chris McCarty, right, a member of Youngstown Kiwanis Club. He was installed by Ohio Kiwanis Gov. Jennifer DeFrance of Kent, left. McCarty was president of the Key Club at Woodrow Wilson High School for four years and was president of the Girard-Liberty Kiwanis Club, where he received the Distinguished President Award. He was president of Youngstown Kiwanis Club for one year and has been a Kiwanian for 15 years. The club meets weekly at noon at the downtown YMCA. For information call 330-729-1017.
