2 hurt as car hits trees on Route 11

Two people were seriously injured just after 1:30 p.m. Wednesday when the car in which they were riding went off the right side of the southbound lane of state Route 11 near Tibbetts-Wick Road and struck several trees.

Neither the names of the victims nor the cause of the crash was made known Wednesday night by the Ohio State Highway Patrol, which is investigating.
