AUSTINTOWN

Quincy Higgins scored 10 of his 16 points in the first quarter as Fitch jumped out to a 24-12 lead en route to the victory. Jessie Driver added 20 points for the Falcons, including 11 in the fourth quarter. Gabe Chepke had 11 points in the win. For Canfield, Jarrett Vrabel had 15 points, Andrew Midgley and Cole Pryjma each had 11 and Brady Clark had 10.

Columbiana 44, South Range 37

BEAVER TOWNSHIP

Nathan Garofolo led Columbiana with 16 points. South Range got 15 points and 11 rebounds from Garrett Anderson.

Ursuline 71, Youngstown East 55

YOUNGSTOWN

Desmond McElroy scored 21 points and Mark Hughes added 19 to lead Ursuline (2-1), which made 13 of 17 from the free throw line in the fourth quarter to close out the win. Greg Parella added 16 points and Paul Jackson had nine points and 14 rebounds. For East (1-2), Anthony Reid scored 14 points.

Poland 64, Hubbard 39

HUBBARD

Danny Black scored 13 points and Jake Wolfe added 10 points and six rebounds as Poland defeated Hubbard. The Bulldogs outscored the Eagles 18-5 in the opening quarter. Kyle Dixon and Jared Burkert each converted two three-pointers for Poland.

Newton Falls 65, Lordstown 53

NEWTON FALLS

Ozzie Hawkins was the only Tiger in double-digits, but his 28 points were enough to lift Newton Falls over Lordstown. Jaden Walton and Chris Greathouse each added nine points for the Tigers (2-2). Three Lordstown players — Steven Gill, Preston Sutton and Nick Johnson — each had 14 points.

Kenston 74, Howland 45

BAINBRIDGE

Kenston had three players in double digits, led by Brad Weemhoff’s 15 points. As a team, Kenston connected on eight three-pointers. Howland (1-3) was led by Reese Bogan, who had 11 points.

Girard 61, Maplewood 49

CORTLAND

Dylan O’Hara had a double-double for Girard (2-2) with 15 points, 10 rebounds and three assists. Evan Standohar scored 13 of his 22 in the first half. Maplewood (2-2) was led by Nate Spitler’s 13 points and Ethan Obradovich’s 11 points.

LaBrae 76, Windham 27

WINDHAM

Peyton Aldridge had a triple-double, pouring in 34 points to go with 14 rebounds and 10 steals for LaBrae. Grant Sprague added 11 points and Marcell Richardson had 10. For Windham (1-3), Jonah Konzen had 12 points.

Lisbon 64, United 42

HANOVERTON

Josh Liberati scored 15 points and Austin Rutecki and Josh Craig each added 13 for Lisbon, which jumped out to a 15-5 lead after the first quarter. Matt Spencer added 11 points. For United (0-3, 0-1 ITCL Tier Two), Braden Davison had 14 points and Jake Clark had 12.

Brookfield 67, Mathews 40

VIENNA

Seth Wallace scored 17 points and Caleb Hunkus had 11 for Brookfield. Cobie Pratt led Mathews with 12 points and Wyatt Ford added 11.

Fairless 46, West Branch 40

NAVARRE

Jarian Thomas had 19 points and Kip DeShields added 14 for West Branch, which fell behind 24-16 at halftime and couldn’t recover. Austin Weyandt had 13 points for Fairless.

Lakeview 69, Pymatuning Valley 55

Tommy Bell led a balanced attack with 16 points and Brandon Keller scored 13 points, Jake Pishotti had 12 and Ryan Pishotti had 10 for the Bulldogs (1-3). PV (1-3) got a game-high 29 points from Quintin Ratliff.

NEW WATERFORD

Troy Holden scored 15 points, Christian Adkins had 13 and Tim Thrasher 12 to lead the Indians. Crestview (0-2, 0-2 ITCL Tier One) was led by Collin Gilbert with 14 points.

Brandon Lee led the Panthers (3-0) with 24 points and Johnny Simcox and Zeth Tomasiak scored 11 each. Darien Townsend led YCS with 19 points and Robert Thompson scored 11.

Mineral Ridge 66, McDonald 58

MINERAL RIDGE

Zach Hagy scored 24 points and the Rams (3-0) and the Rams overcame a 29-point performance by the Blue Devils’ Matt Seitz. Corey Phillips added 11 points for Mineral Ridge. Ken Greaver added 14 points for McDonald.

Lowellville 81, Leetonia 42

LOWELLVILLE

Paolo DePasquale scored 24 points and Spiro Schialdone added 16 for the Rockets (2-0). Alex Harklerode and Cole Beatty each had 11 points for Lowellville. Trent Ferry led the Bears with 20 points.
