Pavlik enters not guilty plea in OVI case

AUSTINTOWN — The attorney for former boxing champion Kelly Pavlik entered a written plea of not guilty today in Mahoning County Court in Austintown for a charge of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence.

A pretrial date of 1 p.m. March 17 has been set.

Pavlik was cited for OVI at about 12:25 a.m. Monday at the Youngstown-Niles exit on the Ohio Turnpike in Jackson Township after a trooper investigated a call of an impaired driver.
