State patrol investigates Howland woman’s hit-skip death
HOWLAND
The Warren Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal traffic crash involving a pedestrian that occurred between 9 p.m. Sunday and 8 a.m. today on King Graves Road in Howland Township.
Antoinette M. Ross, 55, of Howland, was pronounced dead at the scene. The patrol said she was struck by a motor vehicle.
She was located this morning by passing motorists, who called police.
The crash remains under investigation by OSHP Warren Post. A search warrant has been obtained for a vehicle of interest. Forensic evidence is being analyzed and will be forwarded to the Ohio State Highway Patrol Crime Laboratory for analysis.
