Man arrested for trespassing on TMHA property
CAMPBELL
City police arrested a 42-year-old homeless man Friday night after they observed him trespassing on Youngstown Metropolitan Housing Authority property with an open container of beer in his hand.
After placing Bryant K. Wills under arrest shortly after 11 p.m., police searched him, finding brand new, unwrapped items from Dollar General. Officers seized the items — which consisted of three DVDs and five cell phone cases — as evidence, since Wills is facing criminal charges for prior offenses at Family Dollar in Campbell, police said.
Wills had also been given multiple warnings for trespassing on the YMHA property, and was already arrested twice this year for doing so. He is charged with criminal trespass, a fourth-degree misdemeanor, and for having an open container, a minor misdemeanor.
Bond was set at $1,250, with 10 percent cash or surety.
