Columbiana County woman pleads guilty to drug crime in Pa.
JOHNSTOWN, Pa. — A federal judge here has placed a 63-year-old Columbiana County woman on five years’ probation after she pleaded guilty to conspiring to possess and distribute 220 pounds or more of marijuana between March 2009 and May 2011.
Bonnie L. Chapman of Hanoverton drew the sentence today from U.S. District Court Judge Kim R. Gibson, who ordered her to serve the first year of her probation under house arrest, the U.S. Attorney said.
Chapman was one of 15 defendants in the case, which was investigated by the FBI, the IRS, Pennsylvania State Police and various local police departments in Pennsylvania and Ohio.
