Renaissance North Healthcare Center, 2473 North Road NE, was purchased, effective Dec. 1, by Signature HealthCARE of Louisville, Ky., which says it plans a $1 million renovation of the facility.
No details were available Friday on the purchase price.
Renaissance is a 150-bed, free-standing, skilled nursing and rehabilitation center that also offers physical, occupational and speech therapies, and other services.
“As we expand, we always look to grow in communities where we feel our culture and service model will be embraced,” said Joe Steier, Signature president and chief executive officer.
“Warren and Renaissance North seemed like a great fit for Signature, and we’re eager to get better acquainted with this community,” Steier said.
Signature HealthCARE is a long-term care, rehabilitation and health-care company based in Louisville, Ky., with 90 locations in eight states.
Steier said Signature’s culture is founded on three organizational pillars — spirituality, learning and intrapreneurship, each of which is a distinct department with its own staff and initiatives.
“We’re proud to serve the people of Warren and believe our new partnership with Signature will help us continue to advance the level of care we offer,” said Scott Blankenship, SHC of Warren administrator and CEO. “I believe our residents and families will be pleased with the changes.”
