Gen-3 Innovator Award Finalist at SEMA
Nate Miller, President of Thoroughbred Gt and Buckeye Classic Car Restoration, was one of 27 participants recognized as a GEN-3 Innovator, an award given to nominees who are under 40-years-old that are making breakthroughs in areas of new products, setting new trends, or developing new approaches to business in the automotive industry.
The Speciality Equipment Market Association (SEMA) brings manufactures and buyers together in the automotive speciality industry. Thoroughbred GT of Canfield was one of 2,500 exhibitors and 180,000 buyers from around the wold attending the Las Vegas show.
Miller gave a media presentation on the 1965-66 Mustang Fastback body shells he is assembling in his Canfield facility. Miller said his “fastback shells are square, level and built better than factory specifications.”
Miller discussed why the shells benefit the antique car hobbyist by reducing the cost and time required for their restoration.
Thoroughbred GT and Buckeye Classic Car Restoration are located at 6145 State Route 446 in Canfield with 10 employees. Nate Miller is a 1994 graduate of Boardman, and 1998 graduate of Mt Union College with a degree in Business and Computer Science.
