Warren SOUP seeking volunteers, donations

Warren SOUP, a new group that offers a fundraising community meal of soup, bread and salad and awards the money raised to community organizations, is seeking people to serve on its planning committee scheduled to meet at 5:30 p.m. Monday at 170 N. Park Ave.

The organization also is seeking volunteers to help with its next event on Feb. 1, where organizations make presentations and patrons vote to fund the presentation they deem most worthy of support.

Also, Warren SOUP is asking for people to donate or seek donations of soup, bread, salad, refreshments and paper products, a website designer, musicians to perform, and artists to display their works at SOUP functions.
